One Big Family – Helping the Homeless relies upon the generosity of the local communities where we work.
We rely on donations of money, grants, food, clothing and peoples’ time and expertise in enabling us to carry out our work.
Volunteer with us
We are always looking for volunteers - could you give some of your time?
Sunday Cooks - to cook approximately 20 meals (on a rota basis) for the soup kitchen - health & hygiene certificate will be needed but any expense will be repaid.
Delivery Drivers on Wednesday and Friday (between 11 and 1pm) - petrol expenses are repaid, DBS check/ ID badge and training provided.
Give your time - we are always looking for people to give regular time to volunteer with us, at Dukes House, with the soup kitchen, and during our opening of the Winter Emergency Refuge. Please get in contact to find out more information.
Could your company team give a day? We always need jobs doing such as decorating and gardening etc. Please contact info@helpingthehomeless.org.uk if you are interested.
