Winter Refuge

With another cold spell forecast for the weekend, the Homeless Emergency Winter Refuge in Chatham will reopen on Friday until at least Tuesday morning... please share with anyone who may need it

So far we have been open for over 70 nights, and provided in excess of 1000 beds to rough sleepers in Medway - as well as a bed, we help with accommodation referrals (alongside our housing partners we have supported several people into accommodation), signposting for health concerns (and basic first aid) , helping to promote personal health and hygiene, and being an ear to listen... sometimes our guests just need a kind word and to know someone cares. Our fabulous volunteers are doing an incredible job, without them, and your support we couldn't offer this - so a HUGE thank you from us all.
