Yorkshire Heartbreak

Last nights outreach was both heartbreaking and uplifting. The heartbreak came from a person who we have helped over the last year, on and off street. The person has been largely successful in beating addiction only to now find themselves with a partner who is dying. And their worry... how to pay for a funeral. We are going to try and find help on a few levels for them. The uplift comes from the people who were so grateful for our in Street presence last night. We literally had no food and drink left. We had some good news from a long term street sleeper in that they have now got a property and although they have no money at present this is the start of a new life.
